Your baby’s first year has flown by, from sleepy newborn snuggles to cheeky smiles and tiny steps. Now it’s time to celebrate everything they’ve become. A First Birthday cake smash photography session at my cosy studio in Llanishen is the perfect way to mark this once-in-a-lifetime milestone.
We’ll start by capturing some beautiful portraits of your little one, just as they are, full of personality, wonder and joy. Then comes the fun part. Whether they dive straight into the cake or gently explore it, I’ll be there to photograph every curious, icing-covered moment. Once they’ve had their fill of cake (or made a wonderful mess), they can splash about in a warm bubble bath to finish. Not only is it adorable, it also means you leave with a clean, happy baby and a gallery full of memories you’ll treasure forever.

What to Expect

All sessions take place in Michelle’s calm, family-friendly home studio in Llanishen, Cardiff. You’ll feel right at home as your little one explores the space and settles into the session.

We’ll start with some simple portraits before moving on to the cake smash (if included), and end with a splash in the mini tub, keeping baby happy and your images varied.
